As Chief Communications Officer, Craig is accountable for leading Marketing, Communications and Alumni Relations, and is focused on forging a stronger connection between external brand building efforts and firm strategy and growth.

For over 25 years, Craig has held senior executive and leadership roles across the sports, consumer product goods, and government industries. Prior to joining Shearman & Sterling, he served as Chief Brand Officer at the United States Golf Association (USGA), where he initiated a successful overhaul of the association’s brand strategy contributing to its growth, reputation and brand value. During his 11-year career at Mars, Incorporated, Craig served in a number of executive roles leading the Corporate Affairs function in developed and emerging markets across the pet care, confection, and food divisions to drive business performance and enhance brand reputation.

Craig earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of New Hampshire and is a graduate of the IMD Business School’s Strategy for Growth Program and the London Business School Global Business Consortium Program.
