The dispute arises from a contract for the design & build of a major infrastructure project in the Middle East. Approximately USD 600 million is at stake. The law of the Respondent's State applies.
- An international joint venture, Respondents in an ICC arbitration in London initiated by a Middle Eastern State-owned company. The dispute concerns the development of a world-class medical facility in the Middle East. Over USD 3.7 billion is at stake.
- Representing a heavy equipment supplier and contractor in relation to an arbitration and a number of delay, disruption, defects and other disputes arising out of two energy construction projects in Africa with claims and counterclaims of over $2 billion. The law of the country of the projects applies.
- A large energy multinational in respect of potential arbitration claims, including under different bilateral and multilateral investment treaties, in connection with oil and gas assets in Central Asia.
- KLS Energy Lanka Sdn. Bhd. and KLS Energy Lanka (Private) Ltd in an ICSID arbitration against the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka (ICSID Case No. ARB/18/39). The dispute relates to a renewable energy generation enterprise and the claims are brought under the Malaysia-Sri Lanka bilateral investment treaty.
- A major global bank in a significant multi-party and cross border competition damages action in the High Court relating to the widely-publicised alleged manipulation of global FX markets by various banks in 2003-2013.
- A Middle Eastern company in the aviation sector in seven LCIA arbitrations against a European aircraft components supplier. London seat, English law.
