Antonia Stolper, partner in the Capital Markets Group and Latin America Regional Managing Partner, was the keynote speaker at the Chambers Women in Law Awards 2016 held in Bogota, Colombia on October 19. The awards celebrate those who are advancing gender equality and providing equal opportunities to women lawyers across Latin America.

Stolper discussed the important developments in advancing women in the legal profession in countries across Latin America due to the impressive work of the Cyrus Vance Center for International Justice Initiatives and its Women in the Profession (WIP) program. These developments include the formation of a WIP international steering committee, resulting in 18 work plans of local WIP affiliates to advance women in the profession and to take on pro bono projects impacting women.
