Partner George Casey, global head of the Mergers & Acquisitions practice (New York-Mergers & Acquisitions) led a panel discussion that explored the unique issues associated with cross-border acquisitions and minority investments at the Transaction Advisors’ 2017 Chicago M&A Conference on September 14, 2017 at The University of Chicago Gleacher Center. The discussion, which included senior in-house counsel from three public companies, addressed variations in deal structures, the merits of cash vs. stock offers and methods for balancing U.S. securities laws with evolving requirements in other jurisdictions.
