Partner Alex Bevan (Abu Dhabi-International Arbitration) participated in the Dubai Arbitration Week (DAW) presented virtually by GAR Interactive and DIFC-LCIA from November 16-19, 2020.

Alex moderated a panel entitled “The impact of the UAE Federal Arbitration Act: two years on from its enactment, has it had the intended effect?” on November 16, 2020. This panel explored whether the UAE Federal Arbitration Law is meeting the expectations and needs of the arbitration community and whether there is scope for improvement in light of emerging jurisprudence.
