Asia Regional Managing Partner and Head of Greater China Lorna Chen participated in a panel discussion titled “How To Be Your Own Best Ambassador Using Effective Communication” organized by the Hong Kong Venture Capital and Private Equity Association’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, of which Lorna is a member, on April 26, 2022. Lorna shared her insights with her fellow panelists on the following topics:

• Organizing one’s thoughts quickly when speaking off-the-cuff 
• Expressing opinions in a way that has a high impact  
• Avoiding common pitfalls that can sabotage clarity and strength 
• Ensuring one’s voice is heard in group calls (Zoom, conference calls, etc.) 
• Handling disagreements and dealing with interruptions   

The discussion was also followed by an interactive Q&A session.
