Shearman & Sterling has been named “Best International Firm Latin America Practice” and New York partner Cynthia Urda Kassis (New York-Project Development & Finance) has been named “Best in Energy, Natural Resources and Mining” at the 2015 Euromoney Legal Media Group Americas Women in Business Law Awards. Urda Kassis was recognized for her professional accomplishments as well as her advocacy and influence within her field over the past year.

In addition, the firm was shortlisted for “Best Firm in the US Northeast,” “Best International Firm for Diversity” and “Best International Firm for Women in Business Law.” In addition to Urda Kassis, four other Shearman & Sterling partners—Stolper, Denise Grant (New York-Project Development & Finance), Doreen Lilienfeld (New York-Compensation, Governance & ERISA) and Donna Parisi (New York-Asset Management)—were shortlisted for Euromoney Awards.
