Cable and Wireless’ $400 Million Senior Secured Notes Offering

Shearman & Sterling represented Citigroup Global Markets, BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse, J.P. Morgan Securities, RBC Capital Markets and Scotia Capital as initial purchasers in connection with Cable and Wireless's $400 million offering of 5.750% senior secured notes due 2027 by its wholly owned subsidiary Sable International Finance Limited. The offering, which was conducted pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S under the U.S. Securities Act, closed on April 5, 2019. The proceeds of the offering will be used to, among other things, repay certain outstanding debt and for general corporate purposes.
