Shearman & Sterling announced today the addition of Jay Singer as partner to the firm’s Tax practice. Jay will be based in the Washington, D.C. office.
For more than a decade, Jay has advised major public companies on cross-border spin-offs and tax-efficient structuring of complex acquisitions and dispositions. Having started his career in the IRS national office, he also adds to the inside-the-beltway expertise of Shearman & Sterling’s Washington, D.C.
