Partner Clare O’Brien (New York-Mergers & Acquisitions) has been named to The Deal’s Top Women in Dealmaking 2020 List for her work in Mergers & Acquisitions.

In 2020, Ms. O’Brien led Raytheon Corporation through its $120 billion merger of equals with United Technologies, Bunge Limited through the sale of certain of its U.S. grain origination elevators to Zen-Noh Grain Corporation, and Boston Scientific through the sale of BTG Specialty Pharmaceuticals to SERB SAS and Stark International Lux S.A.R.L., portfolio companies of private equity firm Charterhouse Capital Partners, among others.

The Deal described the Top Women in Dealmaking as those “who have displayed excellence in their respective legal fields including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, restructuring and activist investing” and noted that these lawyers were defined not only by their transactional capabilities, but also by their contributions to mentorship, thought leadership, and the advancement of gender diversity.
