Van Genugten Authors Article on U.S. Economic Sanctions and Evolving Compliance Challenges for the Global Banking Sector

Associate Jesse Van Genugten recently authored an article in the Berkeley Business Law Journal addressing the significant role of large financial institutions (LFIs) in the enforcement of economic sanctions administered by the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC). The article also discusses the continued impact of OFAC’s sanctions enforcement on the development of increasingly complex compliance programs at the LFIs.
