Global law firm Shearman & Sterling announces the appointment of Veronika Montes as counsel in its M&A practice in Munich.

Veronika advises companies, investors and banks on stock corporation and capital markets law matters, especially on ECM transactions such as IPOs, capital increases, accelerated book buildings as well as on public takeover and compliance matters. She began her career in 2014 in the capital markets practice at Sullivan & Cromwell in Frankfurt. She was part of the team advising inter alia, on the IPOs of HelloFresh and Delivery Hero, and the capital increase with subscription rights of Bayer in connection with the acquisition financing of Monsanto. In 2018 Veronika started to work for GLNS in Munich advising clients on stock corporation and capital markets law matters including reorganizations, IPOs and share issues.
