Shearman & Sterling represented eGroup Holding Company, LLC (eGroup) in its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Enabling Technologies Corp. of Florida (Enabling Technologies).

The acquisition of Enabling Technologies bolsters eGroup’s cloud and data center capabilities and offers clients of Enabling Technologies an expanded portfolio of solutions in the areas of data center, disaster recovery, backup, IT strategy and optimization and digital infrastructure.

Founded in 1992 and based in Estero, Florida, Enabling Technologies offers innovative Microsoft solutions and services around Microsoft 365, Azure Security & Compliance, Business Applications, as well as Adoption & Change Management and Managed Services.

eGroup provides innovative IT solutions to businesses across the nation delivering speed and certainty while enhancing the digital transformation journey for their clients. The eGroup team enables businesses to focus on what drives their business forward.

In connection with the transaction, eGroup also entered into a new credit agreement.
