Shearman & Sterling received 140 recommendations in the 2022 edition of Legalease’s The Legal 500 United States, including 39 practice rankings and 101 individual recognitions.

The Legal 500 editors named four Shearman & Sterling partners to its Hall of Fame across practice areas including M&A: Large Deals ($1BN+); Project Finance; Securities Litigation: Defense; and Structured Finance: Derivatives and Structured Products. The Hall of Fame recognizes lawyers who are widely regarded as being at the very top of the profession and have been ranked as “Leading Individuals” by The Legal 500 for at least eight of the last ten years. In addition, twelve individuals were recognized as Leading Lawyers.
