Shearman & Sterling advised pure player media group DC Company on the acquisition of Les Eclaireuses, a leading online platform in France founded in 2014 by Melody Madar and Chloé Sabban. Les Eclaireuses publishes content focusing on women fashion and beauty.
DC Company will support Les Eclaireuses in significantly growing its activity by harnessing Les Eclaireuses data more effectively to improve the quality of content for users, enhancing the performance of products for advertisers, strengthening the link between the media and its community and creating new revenue streams.

The company brings together talented entrepreneurs, content creators and journalists and supports them in their digital transition while preserving the plurality of their editorial lines as well as the quality and diversity of content. DC Company owns publications including les Eclaireuses and Le Gorafi.
