Shearman & Sterling advised Groupe Premium, a French player in wealth and insurance solutions and asset management, on the acquisition of Sefima, a wealth management consultancy firm based in Marseille.

This is the sixth acquisition for Groupe Premium since June 2021 with Eurazeo as a majority shareholder. With the ambition of strengthening its development model by combining both the distribution of insurance products and asset management, this acquisition brings the group's total assets to more than €6.5 billion. This acquisition enables Groupe Premium to establish a local presence in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.

Shearman & Sterling also recently advised Groupe Premium on the acquisition of both Groupe Forward and Linard Charbonnel.
