Shearman & Sterling advised Fenway Sports Management, a wholly-owned global sports marketing firm of Fenway Sports Group, on their extended partnership with LeBron James and sports executive Maverick Carter through an investment in LRMR Ventures LLC, a marketing and sponsorship investment firm headed by James and Carter.

The investment gives Fenway Sports Management the exclusive right to generate global sponsorship, endorsement, licensing, merchandising, promotional and other marketing opportunities for LeBron James through the end of 2051.
