As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Lawrence is responsible for Global Technology Strategy and Operations of the firm.

Lawrence brings over two decades of proven results working in Global CTO positions in the legal services and marketing services industries. He is passionate about building high performing teams to blend technology, process reengineering and data science to provide tangible value to the clients of Shearman & Sterling and differentiate the firm from its competitors.

Lawrence has previously worked across the world in CTO positions for such organizations Young & Rubicam, Wunderman, J. Walter Thompson and Ogilvy & Mather and WPP Group. Lawrence earned a Master of Business Administration from Cambridge University and a BA in Business Studies and Computer Science from Lincoln University.
