Overview
Jin is a counsel in the M&A team based in Singapore. Jin’s practice covers M&A and joint venture transactions with a focus in the energy and infrastructure sectors. In particular, he has been heavily involved in energy transition work, with recent and ongoing experience in transactions relating to green hydrogen / ammonia and most of the major forms of renewable energy (offshore wind, onshore wind, solar PV and battery storage, and geothermal). Jin has been focused on the energy sector since 2014 and has a deep knowledge and understanding of the issues and matters relevant to such transactions.
Jin’s involvement in the full lifespan of deals, from due diligence to disputes, enables him to provide relevant, commercial and comprehensive advice that takes into consideration the wider aspects of transactions. He also understands the needs of in-house teams from his experience on secondment to a FTSE 250 energy company in London and a virtual secondment to the downstream team of an international energy company in Singapore.
