Senior associate Dimitrios Katsikis and associate Anthony Cheah Nicholls (both Singapore-International Arbitration) spoke at the first installment of MedArbId’s International Arbitration Forum Series on October 9, 2019 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

In a panel discussion titled “Getting an Early Advantage: Key Decisions for Clients at the Beginning of a Complex Dispute,” Dimitris and Anthony explored legal and practical considerations that clients should think about at the very outset of a complex dispute. Joined by members of the Indonesian legal and business community, Dimitrios and Anthony also discussed the importance of engaging counsel at an early stage of a dispute, the different ways in which clients can extract leverage in order to achieve settlement, as well as the procedural options clients may have at their disposal to assist in a favorable resolution of the dispute.
