Shearman & Sterling partnered with several Latin America-based law firms on a new webinar series to discuss the challenges of conducting a compliance program or an investigation remotely and focused on individual countries throughout the region. We explored a variety of subjects, including: 

• Compliance monitoring, oversight, advice and approval 
• Whistleblower issues 
• Remote investigations 
• Working with government enforcement agencies 
• The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic

The series will kicked off on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 9:00–10:00 am ET with a webinar, organized with law firm Brigard Urrutia, in which we discussed these subjects from both the U.S. and Colombia perspectives.
