Associate Artis Straupenieks spoke at the Infrastructure Contract Management Workshop organized by the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) of the United States Department of Commerce and the Nepal Bar Association on July 11-15 in Kathmandu. Artis discussed the potential claims and disputes that may arise in PPP projects and how to manage them, including through formal dispute resolution methods, such as arbitration.

The workshop focused on the overview of long-term contract management and the importance of contract management beyond financial close of a project in infrastructure sector with participants from the Nepal Bar Association, Office of the Investment Board of Nepal, and officials from Karnali Province.
