Hsu Untied, a blog hosted and authored by Richard C. Hsu, Global Head of Intellectual Property and Technology Transactions at Shearman & Sterling in Menlo Park, has been chosen as one of the ABA Journal’s BLAWG 100 list of best blogs for a legal audience.

Hsu Untied got its start several years ago originally as HsuTube, a blog featuring video animations on key IP topics with Hsu’s then-13-year-old daughter. From there, he moved to podcast interviews with leading lawyers and other special guests. 

“I was quite surprised to find out that HsuUntied was selected by the ABA Journal,” Hsu said. “HsuTube was originally an experiment for me to learn new technologies, and HsuUntied was a way for me to learn about podcasting technology and meet some interesting lawyers.”

The ABA Journal is the flagship magazine of the American Bar Association, and it is read by half of the nation’s 1.1 million lawyers every month.
