Shearman & Sterling Advises on $400 Million Gruma Syndicated Credit Facility

Shearman & Sterling represented Coöperatieve Rabobank U.A., New York Branch, as administrative agent and each of the initial lenders in connection with a $400 million financing for Gruma, S.A.B. de C.V., a sociedad anónima bursátil de capital variable, organized under the laws of Mexico, as borrower, consisting of a $250 million five-year senior unsecured revolving credit facility and a $150 million five-year senior unsecured term loan facility, to be used for the payment of Gruma’s existing indebtedness, working capital financing and general corporate purposes.

The Shearman & Sterling team included partner Denise M. Grant (New York-Project Development & Finance) and associates Lisseth A. Rincon Manzano (New York-Finance) and Arman Naraghi-Pour (New York-Corporate).
