Shearman & Sterling advised a joint venture comprised of GE Energy Financial Services and Energia del Valle de Mexico (EVM), as the borrower and issuer in connection with the $740 million hybrid 4(a)(2) private placement, term loan and letter of credit facility for EVM II. EVM II is an 850 MW greenfield combined cycle power plant in Mexico.
