Shearman & Sterling represented Restream Inc., an Austin-based video-streaming company that counts Deepak Chopra, Microsoft Corp. and the World Health Organization as customers, in its $50 million Series A led by Sapphire Ventures and Insight Partners. The Restream platform enables content producers to stream video content to 30+ viewing platforms simultaneously, while interacting with their viewers. Originally from Ukraine, Restream moved their platform to the U.S. and participated in the Austin, Texas based International Accelerator program, which is dedicated to helping non-U.S. citizen entrepreneurs set up their company in the U.S.
