Boeing’s $4.9 Billion Senior Notes Offering

Shearman & Sterling represented the underwriters in connection with The Boeing Company’s offering of $4.9 billion aggregate principal amount of senior notes. The offering was spread across four tranches with maturities ranging from four to 11 years. Shearman & Sterling represented a syndicate of 50 investment banks, led by Wells Fargo Securities, BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Deutsche Bank Securities, Mizuho Securities USA, RBC Capital Markets and SMBC Nikko Securities America.

Boeing intends to use a portion of the net proceeds from this offering to repay approximately $2.8 billion of its existing indebtedness, and the remaining net proceeds for general corporate purposes.
