Shearman & Sterling Further Strengthens German Offering with the Addition Of Dr. Patrick Wolff

Global Law firm Shearman & Sterling today announces that Dr. Patrick Wolff, former General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Uniper SE, has joined the firm as Of Counsel in Munich.

Previously, Patrick was Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Uniper SE in Germany and led the global legal and compliance department. His leadership role included the listing of the Uniper share, the development of a certified global compliance management system and the legal advice of the supervisory and executive management board on the takeover of Uniper by Fortum. Prior to this, Patrick was Vice President at E.ON responsible for corporate, corporate finance and capital markets. His practice has not only synergies with our broader European Energy & Infrastructure offering but also with our cross border public and private M&A practice in Germany.

Since the appointment of partners Florian Harder and Jann Jetter and the opening of the Munich office in March 2021, several new lawyers have joined the Munich team, including counsel Dr. Chloé Lignier and mergers & acquisition associates Tobias Lämmle, Xiaoqiao (Joice) Zhang, Heinrich Stirz as well as tax associate Emma Dragomirova.
