Shearman & Sterling Joins Net Zero Lawyers Alliance

Global law firm Shearman & Sterling has become a member of the new Net Zero Lawyers Alliance, launching today during London Climate Action Week. The Net Zero Lawyers Alliance is a coalition of leading law firms, committed to accelerating transition to net zero emissions by 2050. In joining the Alliance, Shearman & Sterling is committing to pursue its actions to reduce the carbon footprint in fighting the negative effects of climate change.

Global International Arbitration Practice Group Leader Alex Bevan commented “Shearman & Sterling strives to be socially and environmentally conscious. Joining the Net Zero Lawyers Alliance demonstrates our commitment to being a part of the solution in the global race to net zero. We have implemented a series of initiatives to raise awareness around the effects of climate change and the importance of decarbonizing.
