Shearman & Sterling advised Chevron Technology Ventures in its Series G-2 investment, alongside Google, Reimagined Ventures, Sumitomo Corporation of Americas, and TIFF Investment Management, in nuclear fusion company TAE Technologies. TAE Technologies develops commercial fusion power with the cleanest environmental profile and plans to use the $250 million investment to fund the construction of its next research reactor, Copernicus.
