Two Credit Facilities for Gruma Totaling $225 Million

Shearman & Sterling represented (i) The Bank of Nova Scotia, as administrative agent and initial lender, in connection with a $125 million five-year senior unsecured term loan facility for Gruma, S.A.B. de C.V., a sociedad anónima bursátil de capital variable organized under the laws of Mexico (Gruma), as borrower, to be used for the repayment of Gruma’s existing indebtedness and general corporate purposes, and (ii) Coöperatieve Rabobank, New York Branch, as administrative agent and initial lender, and Bank of America, as initial lender, in connection with a $100 million five-year senior unsecured revolving credit facility for Gruma, as borrower, to be used for the same purposes above.
