$1.54 Billion Revolving Credit Facility for Comisión Federal De Electricidad De México

Shearman & Sterling represented a group of lenders led by Bank of America, BBVA Mexico, Institución de Banca Múltiple, Grupo Financiero BBVA México, BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Mizuho, and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation as joint lead arrangers and bookrunners, in connection with a $1.54 billion three-year senior unsecured revolving credit facility for Comisión Federal de Electricidad de México.

The Facility, which will be used for the refinancing of existing indebtedness and general corporate purposes, considers the option to convert to a sustainability-linked loan including key performance indicators with respect to environmental, social and governance objectives of the borrower and its subsidiaries.
