Shearman & Sterling received 120 recognitions in the 2023 edition of The Legal 500 Asia Pacific, including 29 practice rankings and 91 individual recognitions.

Legal 500 named three partners, Lorna Chen, Masahisa Ikeda, and Bill McCormack, to its Hall of Fame across three practice areas: Investment Funds, Capital Markets: International Firms and Joint Ventures, Projects: Foreign Firms. The Hall of Fame recognizes lawyers who are widely regarded as being at the very top of the profession and have been ranked as “Leading Individuals” by The Legal 500 for at least eight of the last ten years. In addition, nine individuals were recognized as Leading Individuals and three Rising Stars.

Legal 500 benchmarks the strengths of law firms in more than 100 jurisdictions based on feedback from over 300,000 clients worldwide.
