Kris Ferranti Nominated to David Rockefeller Fellows Class of 2023 by Partnership for New York City

Shearman & Sterling Real Estate partner, Kris Ferranti, has been selected by the Partnership for New York City to join the David Rockefeller Fellows class of 2023, an immersive one-year program in which executives learn how decisions are made, services delivered, and power is exercised in New York City.

As part of the program, Ferranti will be joining 29 executives in conversations with elected officials, commissioners of government agencies, heads of nonprofit institutions, and public policy experts.

“It is an honor to be selected to join the David Rockefeller Fellows class of 2023. I look forward to expanding my civic knowledge and to engaging with my peers, and with industry leaders,” said Kris Ferranti, Real Estate partner at Shearman & Sterling.

The Partnership for New York City mobilizes private sector resources and expertise to advance New York City’s standing as a global center of economic opportunity, upward mobility, and innovation. It is a nonprofit organization whose 330 members are preeminent business leaders and companies that employ more than 1 million New Yorkers. The Partnership serves as an honest broker between business, government, and the civic sector to achieve a more inclusive and vibrant economy.

David Rockefeller Fellows was established as a tribute to the late David Rockefeller, the founder of the Partnership who inspired generations of business leaders to become engaged in civic life. Since 1988, the David Rockefeller Fellows Program has been preparing senior corporate executives for more active leadership in civic and public affairs.
