A senior associate in the Litigation practice, Cáitrín’s practice focuses on multijurisdictional compliance reviews and internal investigations for multinationals operating across the Asia Pacific region. She speaks regularly about and conducts training on anti-corruption compliance and internal investigations. From January 2019-January 2020, Cáitrín was seconded to a US-listed technology company, where she led all of the company’s internal compliance investigations in Asia Pacific.  

Cáitrín is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and first lived in China as a high school exchange student with the first program that allowed American students to live with Chinese families. In the more than two decades since, her studies and work have focused on Greater China, from majoring in Chinese History at Stanford, studying Mandarin in Taiwan as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar, conducting oral histories in the Chinese countryside as a Fulbright Fellow, producing a joint theater production between Stanford and the National Theatre of China in Beijing, to her current legal practice.  Cáitrín is also an elected Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
