Associate Athina Kontosakou (Brussels-Antitrust) delivered a guest lecture on “Commitments and Settlements” at the Queen Mary University in London on February 11, 2016 for students in the Commercial Law Studies LLM program. The lecture focused on alternative procedures in the European antitrust legal framework, more specifically on cartel settlements and Article 9 commitment decisions, explaining objectives and underlying policy considerations, and reviewing the respective procedures and their application in practice.
