Counsel Paul Epstein (New York-Project Development & Finance) moderated a breakfast panel of the P3 Breakfast Club entitled “The U.S. Water Sector and Private Sector Investment” on October 19, 2016.

The event, which Shearman & Sterling sponsored and hosted, included a panel of leading water sector developers, investors and advisors from, among others, Poseidon Water, Severn Trent – North America, Energy & Infrastructure Partners, and Ernst & Young Infrastructure Advisors. The panelists had a lively discussion examining investment opportunities in the U.S. water market, the recent successes, ongoing procurements and future pipeline for P3s in the water sector, and the key challenges to be surmounted.

Over 70 delegates attended the event, including representatives from water utilities and operators, the banking community, project developers, investors, contractors, technical advisors and rating agencies.
