Partner Barney Reynolds (London), head of Shearman & Sterling’s global Financial Institutions Advisory & Financial Regulatory Group, participated as a panelist at the British America Business Council's Event, "Brexit Revisited – Pulling the Trigger," on February 22 in London.

With just days before the UK government officially triggers Article 50, the panel considered the impact of Brexit on business and discussed what may happen over the coming weeks and months as the UK prepares to leave the EU. 

In addition to Reynolds, the panel consisted of Diego Zuluaga, Financial Services Research Fellow, Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) & Head of Research, European Policy Information Centre (EPICENTRE); Gergely Polner, Head of EU Public Affairs, Standard Chartered; and Alex White, Strategist, Politics & Markets. Guto Harri, Managing Director of External Communications at Liberty Global, moderated the panel.
