Partner and Head of China Lorna Chen (Hong Kong-Investment Funds) moderated the “Investment Into TMT Sector in China” panel discussion at the 17th HKVCA China Private Equity Summit in Hong Kong on June 5, 2018.

The panel of leading venture capital, private equity and industry experts addressed topics such as the prospects for Chinese TMT companies going global, cross-border investment themes and high-growth areas.  There were also discussions about the key factors for consideration when deciding where to list (including the impact of the new Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules on listing of TMT companies in Hong Kong) and successful M&A exit strategies. The conference was closed with a cocktail reception hosted by Shearman & Sterling.

Organized by the Hong Kong Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (HKVCA), this year’s conference featured more than 70 speakers and panelists discussing the latest developments and trends in China’s private equity market  and was attended by more than 550 delegates .
