We were honored once again to host the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration’s 7th Annual Current Trends in Mining Finance Conference, held from April 28 to May 1 in our New York office. The event featured more than 30 panels, keynote speakers and workshops on trends and issues affecting financing and capital raising in the global mining industry. Specifically, panels discussed M&A and consolidation trends, the multiple ways for mining companies to raise capital in the current markets, metals pricing trends, how climate change is adding risk to mining operations, private equity investments in the mining sector, regulatory updates and more.
