Counsel Paolisa Nebbia (Milan/Brussels-Antitrust) spoke at the 16th European Digital Forum, co-organized by Shearman & Sterling in Lucca, Italy, on June 6-7, 2019 and dedicated to the most important themes that will influence the future of the European and global technological and media market. Paolisa lead the discussion of the panel on “Copyright, Piracy, Mergers and Platforms.” The panel, consisting of Gianluca Campus of Sky Italia, Francesco Sacco of Bocconi and Alberto Sigismondi of Tivu, touched upon hot topics such as recent mergers in the media industry; key legislative developments, including copyright reform; and trends in enforcement, especially around competition.
