Partner Gillian Emmett Moldowan (New York-Compensation, Governance & ERISA) participated as a panelist at the Building Better Boards conference on September 11, 2019. Her panel was titled “The Compensation Landscape: Regulatory Updates and Investor Trends to Watch.” The panel shared valuable insights regarding proxy plumbing, CEO pay ratio, clawbacks, hedging and 162(m). They also discussed the finalized hedging disclosure requirements that go into effect for the 2020 proxy season and the implications of the Corporate Governance Fairness Act imposing regulatory oversight on proxy advisory firms.
