Shearman & Sterling hosted the Latin American Arbitration Practitioners (LATAP) launch event at the firm’s Paris office on October 2. Partner Ximena Herrera (London-International Arbitration), who leads the Latin American International Arbitration team, welcomed the guests together with associate Yael Ribco (Frankfurt-International Arbitration), one of LATAP’s co-founders and President. Ximena gave introductory remarks before the panel discussion about “The Seat of Arbitration in Disputes Involving Latin American Parties: Perspectives and Trends.”
