Partner Emmanuel Jacomy (Singapore/Beijing-International Arbitration) and senior associate Dimitrios Katsikis (Singapore-International Arbitration) spoke at the Young Arbitration Group (YAG) Inaugural Conference titled “International Arbitration in Pakistan: Opportunities for the Next Generation,” which took place in Islamabad on November 15 and 16, 2019.

Emmanuel spoke on the panel entitled “Disputes in the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor and Effective Methods for Their Resolution,” while Dimitrios took part in the panel entitled “Arbitrating Power Disputes: Recurring Issues and How to Resolve Them.”

Featuring a series of discussions focused around the future of international arbitration in Pakistan, this 2-day conference brought together members of Pakistan’s government, academia, judiciary, and business community, as well as local and international arbitration practitioners.
