Shearman & Sterling’s Real Estate group hosted a 2020 State of the Market event on January 28. The evening included a presentation by Dr. Sam Chandan, PhD, and The Larry & Klara Silverstein Chair in Real Estate Development and Investment and Dean of NYU's Schack Institute of Real Estate. Dr. Chandan provided commentary on the current state of the real estate market and an outlook for the industry in 2020 and beyond. Approximately 70 people attended the event.
