Shearman & Sterling was pleased to host assistant general counsel and deputy general counsel at our 2nd Annual Women Senior Counsel Bootcamp. 

We were honored to have Lilly Ledbetter join us as a keynote speaker. Lilly was the plaintiff in the American employment discrimination case Ledbetter v. Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. For years, Lilly fought to close the gap between women’s and men’s wages and in 2009, Congress passed a fair pay act in her name, the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009.
