Associate Shaun Pereira moderated the YSIAC webinar “COVID-19: Mock Virtual Hearing on Key Procedural Issues” held in connection with the SIAC International Arbitration Webinar Series 2020 on May 29, 2020.

The webinar comprised a mock hearing followed by a panel discussion on procedural issues raised by the COVID-19 pandemic. These included considerations impacting the deferral of in-person hearing dates due to travel restrictions, the suitability of a virtual hearing to hear expert evidence and the admissibility of evidence concerning the prospective impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on existing claims.
