Shearman & Sterling Advises on Canadian Natural Resources Limited’s $1 Billion Bond Offering

Shearman & Sterling represented Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated, BNP Paribas Securities Corp. and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, as joint bookrunning managers and Barclays Capital Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., BMO Capital Markets Corp., CIBC World Markets Corp., RBC Capital Markets, LLC, Scotia Capital (USA) Inc., Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (USA), Inc., DNB Markets, Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Mizuho Securities USA Inc., RBS Securities Inc., SG Americas Securities, LLC and SMBC Nikko Securities America, Inc. as co-managers in connection with the offering by Canadian Natural Resources Limited (“CNRL”) of $500 million aggregate principal amount of floating rate notes due 2016 and $500 million aggregate principal amount of 3.80% notes due 2024.

CNRL is a Canadian-based senior, independent energy company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development, production, marketing and sale of crude oil, natural gas liquids, natural gas and bitumen.
