Shearman & Sterling Advises on Halliburton’s $34.6 Billion Acquisition of Baker Hughes

Shearman & Sterling is advising Bank of America, N.A. as administrative agent, Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC as joint lead arrangers in connection with the proposed $8.6 billion senior unsecured bridge financing related to the acquisition of Baker Hughes Incorporated by Halliburton Company.

The firm is also advising Bank of America Merrill Lynch as financial advisor to Halliburton on the acquisition.
