Shearman & Sterling Advises on Canadian Natural Resources Limited’s $1.2 Billion Bond Offering

Shearman & Sterling represented Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Barclays Capital Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (USA), Inc. and RBS Securities Inc., as joint bookrunning managers, and BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated, BMO Capital Markets Corp., CIBC World Markets Corp., RBC Capital Markets, LLC, Scotia Capital (USA) Inc., DNB Markets, Inc., Mizuho Securities USA Inc., SG Americas Securities, LLC and SMBC Nikko Securities America, Inc., as co-managers, in connection with the offering by Canadian Natural Resources Limited (“CNRL”) of $600 million aggregate principal amount of 1.750% notes due 2018 and $600 million aggregate principal amount of 3.900% notes due 2025.

CNRL is a Canadian-based senior, independent energy company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development, production, marketing and sale of crude oil, natural gas liquids, natural gas and bitumen.
